Minehunting with underwater vehicles, minesweeping or the use of drones, the Landsort Class has the option to choose the most efficient tool to ensure a successful MCM-mission.
Minehunting and minesweeping combination
The Landsort MCMV is permanently equipped for minehunting and mine-sweeping. A powerful MCM combat system supports both operating modes. Four different types of underwater vehicles are used to detect, identify, classify and neutralise any type of mine.
For minesweeping, the Landsort is equipped with a mechanical sweep, a light magnetic sweep and two types of acoustic sweeps.
Extremely accurate manoeuvring. Powered by two independent vertical Voith-Schneider propellers designed specifically to ensure excelent manoeuvrability and low noise signature.
