Quality in everything we do

Policy and ISO Certification

Kockums holds a Quality-, Environment- and Welding management system that is integrated with the company's internal operative pro-cesses and guidelines. Our internal processes and guidelines are certified in accordance with international standards for Quality Mana-gement (ISO 9001:2008), Environmental Management (ISO 14001:
2004) and Welding (ISO 3834-2).

Kockums Quality Policy is valid both for internal and external delive-ries and implies that agreed requirements always shall be fulfilled with the goal to exceed Customers' expectations. The responsibility for ful-fillment of requirements is shared by all Kockums employees. The re-quirements and our goal presume that all employees contribute with their knowledge and commitment, and that the improvment of our pro-cesses and products is in continuous progress.

Kockums is certified in accordance with SS-EN ISO 9001:2008 by Bureau Veritas Certification Sverige AB.

Environment

Kockums AB shall minimise the environmental impact of its products and of all its business activities, i.e. development, design, production, upgrades, maintenance and disposal of naval and non-military pro-ducts.

We shall attain this by involving all personnel in this environmental work, by establishing clear goals and by continuously improving our environmental programme, to satisfy or exceed current legislation, regulations and other requirements that affect the company.

Kockums is certified in accordance with SS-EN ISO 14001:2004 by Bureau Veritas Certification Sverige AB.
