Swedish Parliament votes in favor of procuring new submarines

On June 16 the Swedish Parliament voted in favor of allowing the government to procure two new submarines during 2010.

On May 27-28, Kockums AB and FintryMarine Ltd hosted the conference “Service vessels for offshore wind parks”. Kockums AB is currently building the CarboCAT 23 – a ship constructed to service wind parks at sea.

CEO comments Spring budget

In its Spring budget proposal, the Swedish Government has given the green light to go ahead with construction of a Next Generation Submarine (NGS). As well as the construction of two completely new submarines, two Gotland-class submarines are to be upgraded.
